Bring your lunch and learn something new! This session will explore the plants that work best for the Hill Country climate and soils. These include many SuperStar® plants as well as which plants don’t work well in the area.


Registration is suggested.

This monthly series will try to provide assistance to landowners new to the Hill Country so they have so methods to manage their property. Come to one or all, the topics that will be covered:


January 13, 2019 – How to properly care for my trees. – This Session will focus on the proper time and methods for trimming our trees to help decrease the chances of diseases like Oak Wilt from coming into the area. Also, we will talk about the difference between Oak Wilt and signs of stress or other disease.


February 27, 2019 - Brush Control for Small Acreages – During this session we will discuss different methods landowners can use to deal with the brush/trees that come up where don’t want them to be.


April 10, 2019 - Will wildlife work for my land management goals. – This will discuss how landowners can try to obtain a Wildlife Tax Valuation to possibly lower your taxes and help native and migratory animals. This will also talk about Eco Tourism and how you can use your land in different ways.
