Health talk with Krystal - COOKING WELL for Healthy Blood Pressure with A Virtual Grocery Store Tour. Registration required.

Come listen to our local Comal County Health Education Agent speak

This lesson will help us with everyday living for a healthy blood pressure by virtually touring a grocery store and identifying different items that may contain sodium, which we consume daily. This lesson will also review how to read a nutrition label and introduce the difference between salt and sodium, how to identify different ingredients that include sodium, as well as cooking techniques that can be used to add flavor to food without adding additional calories or sodium.

Join us for the whole series or just the topics that interest you on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 2pm.
